The specialists of the Centre of Psychosocial Rehabilitation of Feldman Ecopark participated in the international scientific and practical conferences where they shared experience in the application of Eco-therapy in the system of medical and psychological rehabilitation in health resort institutions for rehabilitation of combatants and the use of Canis therapy rehabilitation for children with special needs.
On December 14-15, the XVII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Reorganization of physical recovery medicine in Ukraine according to the international standards: sharp, subsharp and long-term stages of rehabilitation” took place in Kiev. The Conference was organized by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, state enterprise “Clinical sanatorium “Oktiabr” and a number of leading national medical scientific and higher educational institutions and public organizations.
The binary report “Use of Eco therapy methods at stages of rehabilitation of combatants in health resort institutions” was presented by the head of psychological service of the Centre of Psychological Rehabilitation Feldman Ecopark Tetiana Aliieva and the head of the medical service of the Centre Inna Vashkite.
Besides plenary sessions where the reports of participants were heard, the Conference included thematic round tables, presentations, exhibitions and master classes of the leading Ukrainian and foreign experts in the field of physical and recovery medicine.
Tetiana Aliieva and Inna Vashkite also participated in the I International Scientific and Practical Conference on Canis Therapy. The conference “Canis therapy — an innovative method of rehabilitation of children and teenagers with disabilities and special needs” was organized by the Kennel Club of Ukraine, the Rehabilitation Centre of Physically Disabled People “Maibutne” and the Educational and Training Centre “Larmon”.
The Feldman Ecopark’s specialists made a presentation “Canis therapy in the system of psycho-correctional influence at children with special needs”. According to Tatiana Aliieva, the report was devoted to implementation of Eco-therapy into the system of medical and psychological rehabilitation of children and teenagers with special needs in Ukraine. “We highlighted such sections as comprehensive programs of psycho-correctional influence in violations of emotional and behavioural sphere at children with special needs with use of Canis therapy and also the social projects directed to psychological adaptation of children and their families using the Eco-therapy in general told about our experience since 2013 and new directions” — Tatiana Aliieva noted.
