The horse riders of Feldman Ecopark took part in the Open Regional Jumping Competition “End of the Season 2016.” The championship took place in the equestrian centre of the Kharkiv State Zooveterinary Academy last Saturday. Feldman Ecopark was represented by the children from the Horse Complex Daria Konovalova, Kateryna Babanska, Daria Kachanova, and Halyna Hnatiuk. It should be noted that the latter two athletes participated in the competitions for the first time. According to their trainer Zhanna Chahovets, their debut was quite successful and will be the foundation for the future victories. It should be added that the athletes of the Feldman Ecopark Horse Complex got the winning places at “End of the Season 2016.” A young riding master Kateryna Babanska and her horse Silva were the third on the route with 70cm obstacles.
The last weekend was also full of rewards for the young athletes from the Feldman Ecopark Ski Club. The children won at the municipal track and field races “Golden Autumn.” Among the youngest participants, Artem Yehorov (7 years old) was the third and Maksym Nekrasov (6 years old) was the first at 500 metre distance. Among the little elder children, Inna Ihnatieva (8 years old) won the race and Oleksii Martakov (9 years old) was the second at the same distance. Svitlana Ilinskykh, who trains the children, is very satisfied with their results. “They are training in our Club for only a month, and they are already the champions! These competitions gathered more than 200 participants of different age, and our children were the best among the peers. I am sure that they will demonstrate the same excellent results at ski competitions as at the track and field ones,” Svitlana Ilinskykh said.
It should be reminded that within the framework of the 1,000 Teams Tournament, Feldman Ecopark develops different kinds of sport and recreational activities. The programme includes training and competitions in futsal, ping-pong, volleyball, streetball, skiing, cycle race, cross-country run, different kinds of gymnastics, chess, and other kinds of sport.
