‘Being only at the beginning of its way into politics, Nash Krai showed the result incomparable to new parties that lack support of oligarchs, TV channels and the state budget,’ such was the statement made the co-chairman of the political party and a People’s Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Feldman in his interview for Fakty I Kommentarii newspaper. The politician also thanked everyone who believed into his political party in spite of extensive smear campaigns and voted for Nash Krai and its candidates on the election day.
‘This result convinces me that it is our old approach to voters as to real people with all of their painful problems (instead of treating them as a kind of electorate mass), our permanent keeping in touch with them and supporting them in solving their everyday problems that appeared to be right thing to do, and this is exactly how we should keep on working,’ says Oleksandr Feldman. ‘We had a sensible approach to local politics with consideration of functions and abilities of local community self-government. Our initiatives will be heard in all councils of Kharkiv Region – thanks to our voters who understood it.’
According to Oleksandr Feldman, the greatest support his political power gained from citizens of Oktiabrsky and Leninsky districts of the city, whose interests the Deputy is representing in the Verkhovna Rada. ‘For me, this is an exemplary moment, because despite large-scale advertising campaign of large political parties and their speculations on sensitive issues, people still have a positive view on my political activities as a Deputy and arte willing to give their votes to a brand new political power and the team I am pledging my honor for,’ remarked Oleksandr Feldman.
