Art Picnic Weekends by Slava Frolova in Feldman Ecopark will be opened this weekend, on August 5-6. Starting at 11 a.m. and till night, dozens of events in different directions (art, movie, music, theatre, literature, sport (mind and body), children, festivals and fairs, good deeds, and meetings with interesting people) will take place in the territory of Ecopark.
“Performances by Ukrainian bands and singers, open-air movie screenings, street library and cozy places for reading, interesting lectures, artistic workshop, meetings with interesting people, master classes for children and adults, ‘photo-drying,’ yoga under bird singing, sports activities, art-therapy – it is our joint format for rest, communication, experience, knowledge and good mood sharing. We have no guests, everyone is a participant,” the organizers tell.
The first weekend programme of Kharkiv’s Art Picnic will be rich and interesting. Both the new and the famous and much-loved bands will perform on the big stage of Feldman Ecopark. In particular, PUR:PUR, Karliki Brokkoli, Grazhdanin Topinambur, Hapochka, Epolets, Bila Vezha and many others will perform for the visitors of the Regional Landscape Park.
Do you want to learn classic Iyengar Yoga? Do you want to carry out football training together with the Gelios FC team? Do you want to openly talk with the famous athlete and businessman Oleksandr Popov? Do you want to take part in the best handmade fair TUT USE MARKET? Do you want to visit a street vernissage or a house concert by a talented actor Pavlo Aldoshin? Do you want to attend master classes in house concert of rugs for animals, Kangoo Jumps, Japanese counting system using soroban abacus and in many other interesting and necessary directions? Then you should visit Art Picnic in Feldman Ecopark, where everyone – both adults and children – will find interesting occupation, as dozens of various activities are already waiting for them.
Art Picnic Weekends will take place in Feldman Ecopark every weekend during August-September. The entrance to all events is free.
It should be reminded that Art Picnic is an annual street cultural and social project aimed at the development and popularization of modern Ukrainian culture and art. For the first time it took place in Kyiv in 2013. It has already been held in Odesa and Rivne. For the Regional Landscape Park Feldman Ecopark, which exists since 2011, the organization of social, cultural and educational, youth and entertaining, as well as sports and educational events is one of the main directions of activities. Its priorities also include the animal protection, scientific, medical and rehabilitation directions.
