Winter send-off was celebrated in the Feldman Ecopark last weekend, March 12-13. During the last days of Maslenitsa holiday, the Regional landscape park prepared the theatrical festive performance with the participation of the best artists of Kharkiv.
Two premières were presented for the guests. The stars of the Theatre of children and animals presented their spring show “The meeting of winter and spring.” And the artists of the Horse Complex pleased the guests with the grandiose show “Winter send-off” with the stage stunts, vocal numbers, Maslenitsa scarecrow burning, and round dances near the bonfire. After the termination of the concerts, everyone was able to treat themselves with the tasty pancakes by the Feldman Ecopark. It should be noted that several tens of thousands of pancakes were prepared specially for the Sunday of Forgiveness.
The young naturalists of the Feldman Ecopark prepared family master classes for the guests. These young scientists told about the very interesting details of the creation of the famous family amulet – rag dolls (“motanka”).
The entertaining program also included bright photo shoots with the main characters of the holiday – Kum and Kuma (godfather and godmother), and skomorokhs (harlequins), funny competitions and consolation prizes.
“Maslenitsa is the long-standing favourite holiday of children and adults. These days, it is pleasant to treat ourselves with tasty pancakes, sing, joke and dance to exhaustion. And we tried to create this atmosphere for each visitor of the Ecopark,” told the director of the Feldman Ecopark Andrii Roshchupkin. “I wish all our guests cheerful and sweet life not only this sunny holiday, but every day. Let the closest and the dearest people be close to You. I wish Your homes warmth, good, prosperity, health and harmony! Happy spring and sunny holiday! As for the Sunday of Forgiveness, let Your pride off, and find forces to forgive and apologize, to learn to hear and understand each other.”
