The leaving winter brought to young athletes of the Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club many victories and prestigious awards on regional and All-Ukrainian superiorities. Skiers Feldman Ecopark honorably represented the Club in last city championship and added medals to the Club’s collection”.
According to the head of Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club Svitlana Ilyinskikh, the Kharkiv cross-country championship among schools and clubs for children and young people took place on March 2. Solomiia Shulga took first place in a 1 km race among girls in the age group of 2009 and younger, while Katia Skorobogatova took the second place. Arsenii Casymyr showed the best result among boys in this group at the same distance, Maksym Nekrasov was the third. Taisiia Budyanska took second place in a 2 km race in the age group of 2007-2008, while Polina Stegacheva was the third. Oleksii Martakov was third in a 5 km race among boys in the age group of 2006-2005 year.
According to Svitlana Ilyinskikh, Feldman Ecopark is necessary to skiers are expected to participate in one more superiority – the Season Closing. “It could already be noted that this season was successful for our Club. All our children considerably grew as athletes and every time show higher and higher results at competitions. We expect that this month new awards will appear in the Club’s collection” — she noted.
It should be reminded that the Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club was opened in October 2016. It is one of the most popular sports direction within the 1,000 Teams Tournament project. About 50 children aged from 7 up to 14 years train in the Club free of charge all year round. Since 2017, the special programme for children with special needs, including vision-impaired children and children with musculoskeletal disorders is being implemented here. Lessons take place 3 times a week in the territory of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark.
