On Tuesday, June 13, the “Prevent. Rescue. Help” action from the Head Office of Civil service in Emergency Situations of Ukraine in Kharkiv oblast and its district government in Dergachi town was held in Feldman Ecopark. Together with the Ecopark’s lead anker Pavlo Palyanitsa the Kharkiv rescuers showed to small guests and children attending the Feldman Ecopark’s summer camp all ins and outs of the service.
“From the Ecopark’s early opening, we regularly come here with the “Prevent. Rescue. Help” action, there is always a lot of active and inquisitive children who are interested in learning about the rescuer’s profession — the head of Civil Protection Department of the district government in Dergachi town Serhii Nesterenko told. — The summer holidays have come, children went off to the forest or pond, and others plan to go hiking therefore this information is extremely urgent. Today we exposed special vehicles of the garrison of the Civil service in Emergency Situations, showed how the rescue operations go. Water and foam were provided— everything that in the brightest colors shows to children the work of fire rescuers “.
Besides, the kids got an opportunity to try on the fighter uniform, to hold a fire trunk in hands, to sit in a special vehicle cabin, to switch an alarm siren and even to declare important information in a loud-hailer. The fire truck of a new sample caused special delight at children. The unique and super functional car which has recently appeared at the Kharkiv rescuers was radiant with beauty and power directly at the Regional Landscape Park’s entrance.
During the action the rescuers reminded children about main rules of health and safety: the right way to deal with fire, the rules of conduct near lakes and also to remain save and healthy and not to put at risk the others in case of detection of suspicious objects.
