The Ski Club Feldman Ecopark set about intensive trainings. About 40 young athletes participated in daft races through the fairy winter forest. A lot of sportsmen are even younger than 9 years.
“The Club’s smallest pupils have also laid the first ski track in these days off — the head of the Ski Club Feldman Ecopark Svitlana Ilyinskikh told. – We continue drafting children of 6 – 14 years in cross-country skiing and biathlon sections. Trainings in Feldman Ecopark take place three times a week: on Thursdays from 16:00 till 18:00, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 till 12:00. Let’s remind that the Ski Club appeared in Feldman Ecopark in October 2016. This is the new sports direction within the “1000 Team’s Tournament” project. About 50 children attend the Club’s classes, further it’s planned to bring their quantity to several hundred.
Let’s note that the experts mark a great advantage of skiing for children’s development – this is the correct breath, hardening, vestibular system development, cardiovascular system strengthening, increase in endurance, efficiency and body tonus, development of leg muscles and strengthening of press.
The important task of the Ski Club Feldman Ekopark is promoting of winter sports among children and youth. A number of mass activities and information campaigns is already planned for this winter, for example, the International Snow Day and “Bring children to the snow”.
Let’s note that “1000 Team’s Tournament” is the long-term sports and social project of the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman’s Foundation”. Its realization includes development of different types of sport and active recreation on the basis of Feldman Ecopark. It covers futsal, table tennis, volleyball, streetball trainings, skiing competitions, cycle races, cross-country run, sport orienteering, different types of gymnastics, chess and other directions.
