Having participated in the regional and city competitions, closing a winter sport season the members of the Feldman Ecopark’s Ski Club won top places again.
In the Kharkiv oblast’ Cross-Country Skiing Championship the team of nine people represented the Feldman Ecopark. On March 4 Anastasiia Nekrasova was the 1st in 3 km race, Polina Todua was the second. David Bessonov was the 3rd in 3 km race. On March 5 Anastasiia Nekrasova was the 1st in 3 km race, Myroslava Kolomiiets was the 2nd and David Bessonov – the 3rd.
The Trophy of the Kharkiv city which was held on March 10 became the season closing competitions. And here the Feldman Ecopark’s skiers also were among the best. Anastasiia Nekrasova in her age category was the first in 5 km race and at the same time fulfilled the first senior degree. David Bessonov was the 2nd in 2 km race.
According to the head of the Feldman Ecopark Ski Club Svitlana Ilinskikh, with the end of the winter season our young athletes will continue training in the format relevant to weather conditions in order to participate in competitions in a new format (race or roller skis) already by the end of April or the beginning of May. The last ski training managed to be held on the last weekend. Once the season is over, all 65 young athletes of the Feldman Ecopark’s Ski Club gained diplomas.
“The first winter season of the Feldman Ecopark’s Ski Club was successful, – Svitlana Ilinskikh considers. – Our athletes participated in one and a half tens competitions, two of which were All-Ukrainian. For the first time the Feldman Ecopark’s skiers represented the Kharkiv oblast’ in the National Championship in Sumi. We are sure that next winter our athletes will obtain even greater achievements. For now the trainings and participation in competitions of a spring preseason are in the short term”.
