Feldman Ecopark congratulated all residents and guests of Kharkiv with Victory Day. Specially before this holiday, which is important for all generations, a great concert programme “A Victory For Everyone” was arranged in the regional landscape park. On May 6-9, young stars sang songs and read poetry before the audience. The show with the participation of famous artists and trained animals was also prepared.
According to the tradition, the memorial installation was set in Feldman Ecopark before Victory Day. Its central composition – the Wall of Remembrance – told about the reality of the World War II, informed about its heroes who forged the Great Victory. It should be reminded that the installation was created by the residents of Kharkiv, who brought the photos and facts from the lives of outstanding citizens – the heroes of the war. Their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren told about them to the organizers of the event. The memorial complex was completed with touching stories about the animals, which also helped the soldiers to protect their native land.
“There are no words, which could express that deep pain and bitterness from the millions of human losses during the World War II. Brave soldiers died, women and children suffered. Today, together with thousands of Kharkiv residents we lay the flowers to the monuments to the defenders, we listen to touching performances of young singers, review the archival photos of liberators, and I always thank them for all Ukraine in my mind – for us to be able to raise our children, to work for the benefit of our country, to plan and to move forward,” the director of the ICF “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” Oleksandr Feldman noted. “I congratulate the whole country with the anniversary of this really Great Victory. We remember that difficult way, which was overcome by our ancestors and appreciate the lesson they gave to the world.”
During the whole weekend, the visitors were able to enjoy the violin and keyboard instruments performances by the maestros of Kharkiv. The invited youth teams “Old Circus” and “Children of the Future” surprised with the amazing performances. The military epoch was also reflected in the festive performance of the Theatre of Children and Animals “The Memory of Heart.” The Horse Complex caused a great tornado of applause with the new tricks and grandiose parade of horses. The guests of Ecopark were also able to watch the scientific show of professor Puzyrkov and doctor Pilulkin. Moreover, the series of family master classes, fancy-dress photo shoots, children drawing contests, and sport competitions also were arranged.
Remembrance flash mobs were the decent extension of the holiday. Several dozens of musicians of the Orchestra of folk instruments under Kharkiv regional house of children’s and youth creativity led by Valerii Horodovenko sang “Prayer for Ukraine” with feeling. The visitors of Ecopark formed a composition of the huge word “peace.” It was possible to look at the whole picture only at a height of air photography.
The pleasant bonus to the bright impressions was the certificates and souvenirs, which were presented to the most active guests of Feldman Ecopark during the holiday.
