Ukrainians will spend the summer ending in a mini-vacation: the whole country will celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine, the Day of the National Flag, while Kharkiv residents will also celebrate Kharkiv City Day. On this occasion, the Regional Landscape Park Feldman Ecopark prepares the special programme for every day.
On August 23, the show “The Heart’s Memory” will be presented in Feldman Ecopark on the occasion of Kharkiv City Day. The performance by the Theatre of Children and Animals is intended for young audience, but it will touch elder visitors as well. The poems and songs of the war times, as well as the waltzes danced by little artists and their furry assistants – the show will start on the stage of the Theatre at noon this Wednesday.
On August 24-26, the activities devoted to the Independence Day will take place at the main location of Feldman Ecopark and on the stage of the Theatre of Children and Animals. The team of entertainers has prepared the special programme with quizzes, presents and patriotic photo shoots. The organizers of the holiday will provide a small photo studio with the beautiful decorations mimicking an old Ukrainian village: hay bales, sunflower field, spinning wheel and the national costumes (vyshyvanka). Moreover, on August 26, the Theatre of Children and Animals will present a performance “As in our Ukraine.” It will be possible to watch the adventures of a glorious Ukrainian Cossack, who arrived to choose a bride, at noon.
Moreover, the social and cultural project Art Picnic by Slava Frolova will continue its activities in Feldman Ecopark on August 26-27. During these two days, the guests will be able to attend more than a hundred events including an open air concert, master classes, vernissages, ‘photo dryings,’ meetings with interesting people, street library, painting lessons, sports exercises, children’s programme, literature events, open-air cinema, and TUT USE MARKET fair. The Art Picnic activities start at 11 a.m. and last till late at night
