Forum “Development of Nash Krai party through local leadership” took place in Kharkiv
aForum “Development of Nash Krai party through local leadership” took place in Kharkiv on September 15-16. MPs and party members from different regions of Ukraine exchanged their experience and took part in thematic training and workshops.
Co-chairman of Nash Krai party, Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman noted the importance of local work, direct communication with people and understanding their problems, hopes and demands.
“Party’s main task is to properly represent and defend the interests of communities in general and each citizen in particular,” Oleksandr Feldman noted. “For this purpose, it is necessary to communicate with people, to understand what bothers them the most, to help them in solution of vital problems. This is our main task. And this work should be done constantly, and not only before the elections.”
The chief of the Central Executive Committee of Nash Krai party Oleksandr Mazurchak emphasized the “only by applying maximum efforts in order to successfully represent the interests of communities, the interests of Ukrainians at the local level, it is possible to achieve changes for the entire country.”
The participants of the Forum shared their ideas and projects, which had already been implemented locally. Moreover, they obtained a practical experience of joint work on the development of projects, which they will be able to implement in their territorial communities in the future.
Moreover, the range of trainings and workshops took place during the Forum. They were devoted to the practice of intraparty and interpersonal communications, oratorical skills and time management.
During the workshop devoted to the communications within the party, senior head of the Programme for political parties of the National Democratic Institute John Lovdal told how to build a dialogue within the party circle and how to correctly form tasks and projects. During the interpersonal communications training, psychologist Yaroslava Matviichuk presented the system of conflict settlement and demonstrated how to hear any elector and understand all of his or her problems and demands. During the workshop devoted to oratorical skills, Dmytro Liakhovetskyi explained how to speak the elector’s language and how to explain own ideas. While during the training “How to manage to do everything in 2018,” Oksana Lysykh gave a master class on time management and told how to allocate time correctly.
