On September 14, at 17:00 the AVEC Gallery presents an exhibition “Vyacheslav Panov. Selection”. For forty years the author creates picturesque canvases in a cityscape genre. According to the art critics, Vyacheslav Panov’s works already became classics and are far from modern style decisions. The master’s works are exhibited in the state museums of Ukraine and private collections of England, France, Italy, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Hungary, Canada, the USA. The exposition in the AVEC Gallery will present to the viewer about fifty pictures painted at different times. These are different landscapes of the cities of the world which have inspired the artist, but first of all native Kharkiv.
” It’s always easy to recognize Kharkiv in Panov’s masterpieces. In most of his pictures the artist represented the old part of the city rich with architectural monuments, – Elena Pozdnyakova, the director of the AVEC Gallery told. – According to the author, there are no unaesthetic landscapes. Representing the abandoned, decayed buildings or unsightly suburb сonstructions, he describes their long and hard destiny. These are some kind of urbanistic portraits. It’s like, they invite the viewer to thoughtful contemplation and suggest our contemporary to feel grizzled beauty of the city, its picturesque unique shape”.
The exhibition “Vyacheslav Panov. Selection” is open till the end of October. The AVEC Gallery (Sumska St., 70) works from 10:00 to 22:00 daily, without breaks and days off. The entrance is free!
