The AVEC Gallery presents two exhibitions for International Museum Day: project of the Israeli photographer Ernest Aranov Israel —Soul and Spirit and works of the Ukrainian painter Tatiana Kovalenko At Eye’s Length.
Ernst Aranov is the Israeli photographer, the director, the author of TV programmes. Critics note a narrative saturation of his photo works: “His every photo is a story, a novel or a poem. It is interesting to look at them, trying to grasp into every line. Here we have both lyrics, and irony, and a quick eye surprising with its precision. The collection of the Israeli photos of Aranov — a portrait of the modern Jewish state in all its variety”. Ernst Aranov’s photo exhibition Israel —Soul and Spirit opened for visitors on May 14, in the AVEC Gallery (72, Sumska St., small hall).
Tatiana Kovalenko is a native of Dnipro, the graduate of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, the participant of many National and regional exhibitions, modern art projects and plein-airs. “Tatiana’s painting is a combination of exact masterful brushstroke and gusty impetuous emotion. A pitchfork of her creativity comprises the world of nature, its color and shades. The images embodied on canvases exhale live light” — art critics write about Tatiana Kovalenko’s works. The opening of At Eye’s Length exhibition will take place on May 17, at 18 p.m. in the AVEC Gallery (70, Sumska St., second floor).
The AVEC Gallery is open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The entrance is free!
