The exhibition of works of the famous Kharkiv masters of fine arts Elena Lesnichaya and Larisa Antonova will open in the AVEC Gallery (Sumskaya St., 70) on March 3 at 18:00. The authors called the creative project “We & Ours” to emphasize spiritual affinity of the outlook embodied in pictures and sculptures which were created since the beginning of the 90th years of the last century and for now. The exposition comprises about hundred of works – painting and ceramics.
“It’s the first time we decided to collect the works of these two talented authors, belonging to different periods of their creativity in one showroom. Their common feature is perception of surrounding reality which is very personal and at the same time clear to everyone. Externally, it is a bit childly naive and at the same time deeply philosophical view of the world — the director of the AVEC Gallery Elena Pozdnyakova told. — The images created by Elena Lesnichaya have already become axiomatic and reflect disturbing, antinomic, sometimes phantasmagoric spirit of our era. The mythological and folklore motives of different eras and cultures, introducing new sense in habitual things are crossed in sculptural compositions of Larisa Antonova – masters of genre ceramics. Gathered together, the works of these two magicians give us, the audience, the fairy tale feeling and the real spring mood”.
The “We & Ours” exhibition in the AVEC Gallery will work until the end of March daily from 10:00 till 20:00 without breaks and days off. Admission free!
