The Regional Landscape Park Feldman Ecopark celebrated its 5th birthday on June 5. The Ecopark celebrated its first jubilee with the huge festive non-stop programme, which lasted from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m..
“The idea of the Ecopark’s creation was always in my head. I have always dreamed about creating a so-called “grandmother’s yard,” where people are able not to visit the nature and animals, but to stay with animals within the nature. The results were achieved thanks to the residents of Kharkiv. Exactly thanks to the interest of people, everything started to develop, Oleksandr Feldman, the founder of the Ecopark and Ukrainian MP noted. “I want not just congratulate the workers of the Ecopark on the first jubilee, I bow my head respectfully before all the people who help me in this difficult work. It is a very difficult economical situation now, and we not always have comfortable conditions – we do everything just-in-time. However, the team we have today really loves its work and really understands that it makes something important and necessary. It is a single solidary team.”
The numerous visitors of the Ecopark were entertained by the best artists: they be able to watch performances by the Theatre of Children and Animals and the Horse Complex of the Feldman Ecopark, the invited children’s ballet, vocal, choreographic and circus teams, the children’s wind band, the puppet theater and especially festive parade of animals.
The festive atmosphere was supplemented with a plenty of balloons, mimes, life-size puppets, fairy-tale characters, stilt-walkers, living statues, and caricaturist. Everyone was able to take part in master classes in creation of crowns, balloon figures, and clay modeling. The festive lottery also interested everyone. Really summer prizes were raffled off. All children who came to the Ecopark this day got sweet treats and teddy bears from the Feldman Ecopark’s partner, AHMADTEA LTD.
The football tournament also took place in the Ecopark in honour of the fifth anniversary. Six teams from Derhachi region competed. Fonton team from the village of Lisne was the winner. The team got football gear as a reward. All the participants got diplomas and balls.
