Feldman Ecopark takes part in Earth Hour international campaign once again

Informational posters urging to treat the Earth with care and responsibly were placed in the recreation location of the Regional Landscape Park. The guests who visited Feldman Ecopark on Saturday and Sunday were able to learn about the movement “Earth Hour” and its organizers.

“We take part in the movement “Earth Hour” for the second time. It unites billions of people worldwide. Its organizers – the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) – are our friends and partners,” the director of Feldman Ecopark Andrii Roshchupkin noted. “For us, this mass environmental campaign is another occasion to tell people that it is very important to protect our fragile world, which belongs not only to us, but to all living creatures of the planet.”

It should be reminded that Earth Hour is an international campaign, during which the World Wide Fund for Nature urges to turn off the light for one hour as a sign of the commitment to the future of the planet. The illumination of the most famous buildings and monuments all over the world is turned off for this hour. In 2017, international Earth Hour was held for the 10th time on Saturday, March 25. It is aimed not at the electricity saving, it is the symbol of considerate attitude towards the nature.
