Twenty exotic coniferous plants adorned the park in the centre of the town of Solonitsevka (Derhachi region). During the previous weekend, a national volunteer campaign “For Clean Environment” took place here. Together with the members of territorial community, the improvement and planting of greenery was also carried out by the representatives of NGOs: Feldman Ecopark and the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation.” They brought and planted 9 thuja trees and 12 thuja bushes.
“Today, our town became more beautiful, and the air became cleaner. We are trying to make Solonitsevka the most comfortable and pleasant place for life,” the mayor of Solonitsevka Vasyl Shabatko noted. “We thank our friend for their help. These beautiful thujas are the May present. They added delicacy to our central park and will make even our children and grandchildren happy.”
It should be noted that the ICF “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” and the RLP Feldman Ecopark cooperate with the territorial community of Solonitsevka for the second year. Last spring, the central park of the town was jointly adorned with flowers – a flowerbed for 150 petunias was created. In autumn, it was planted with coniferous trees and shrubs – 25 blue spruces, thujas and junipers. The good deeds partners are not going to stop on what has already been achieved, and are going to make Solonitsevka even greener and more beautiful.
