The silver and polar foxes appeared in Feldman Ecopark for the first time. The volunteer from Kiev Sergey Fedorashkin transferred these two animals. The man redeemed the exhausted foxes from one of the enterprises involved in production of fur products.
“Sergey actively cooperates with the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home”. Before he rescued couple of raccoon dogs from hands of hunters and transferred animals to us to rehabilitation, – the director Feldman Ecopark Andrey Roshchupkin tells. – It is very pleasant that the Ukrainian colleagues support our business. Having combined efforts, we manage to do much more good for the tiniest creatures”.
New foxes are very contact and open to people, – the staff of Ecopark tells. With surprising ease and trust they had detailed medical examination, and also compulsory procedures for immunity maintenance.
“Now predators require special attention, it isn’t so easy to overcome a stressful state. Employees try to be the most attentive to them in tendance and chose a special diet where only useful meat delicacies, and also necessary vitamins are allowed”, – the deputy director Feldman Ecopark Valery Ivashchenko tells.
Both foxes will remain in Ecopark. According to employees, soon it is planned to open the new open-air cage for them.
