A great cultural and entertaining programme devoted to Independence Day of Ukraine will take place in Feldman Ecopark on August 24-26.
During these festal days, the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex will be decorated in traditional national Ukrainian style and will offer its guests to make unforgettable selfies in national costumes. “Our traditional characters of the holidays – Kum and Kuma – will invite the visitors to Ecopark to attend a fascinating event with the performances by musical and theatrical collectives, extreme show, thematic competitions and master classes. Moreover, various surprises, like holiday lottery and free ice cream, will be waiting for them as well,” the organizers of the holiday tell.
On Friday, August 24, a game programme for young visitors will start at 11 a.m. The same time, live classic music will begin to sound near the Swan Lake. The performance by the children’s special folk theatre “Children of the Future” will start at noon. Extreme show “Strong people” presented by the participants of the TV shows “Ukraine’s Got Talent” and “Super Humans” starts at 2 p.m. The holiday concert “Happy Birthday, Ukraine!” starts at 2.30 p.m., and it will consist of the performances by the collectives of Kharkiv Higher School of Arts, Kharkiv State Academy of Culture, and Municipal School of Arts for Children and Adults, as well as by the classic music performers.
The visitors to Ecopark will be also able to attend master classes: “Live Clay” (modeling on potter’s wheel – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), plaster forms painting (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), “My Mascot” (bracelet plaiting – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), open-air art studio (paining on folk themes – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), creation of ribbons for head and holiday cards (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
Moreover, on August 24, Ecopark’s oldest orangutan Vasyl will be glad to receive birthday wishes (enclosure for primates, starting at 10.30 a.m.)
On Saturday, August 25, master classes, live music concert, game programme for young visitors and the performance “Cheerful Kaleidoscope” by the Theatre of Children and Animals (starting at 11.30 a.m.) will be waiting for the visitors.
On Sunday, August 26, the visitors to Ecopark will be also able to attend a holiday concert “Happy Birthday, Ukraine!” (starting at 1.30 p.m.), master classes and performances by the Theatre of Children and Animals.
In addition, on Sunday, a retro zone “Indian summer in Ecopark” will be opened at the stage of the children’s summer camp. The visitors will be able to attend a musical and entertaining programme: performance by the Avzhezh band (accordion, violin, drums), dancing and joint singing of folk songs – favourite hits of 1960s-1980s. Retro zone will be open every weekend.
Moreover, everyone will be able to demonstrate his or her talent at the pavement drawing competition devoted to Ukraine’s Birthday (starting at noon). The Independence Day lottery drawing starts at 3 p.m. Among the prizes is an opportunity to take a retro car ride.
The surprise for young participants of game programmes – tasty ice cream – is prepared by Feldman Ecopark’s partner Lasunka TM.
