On March, 10 the visitors to Feldman Ecopark will be able to take part in celebration of Maslenitsa including pancake treatment, burning of a jackstraw, competitions, master classes, theatrical performances, round dances and photo shoots.
“The long-awaited and beloved farewell to winter holiday and meeting of spring will take place in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex cheerfully, tasty and according to national traditions — the organizers of the festivities tell. – The Ecopark’s guests who decided to celebrate Maslenitsa together with us will be able to visit two festive locations – the main location and the Horse Complex”.
The Host and the Hostess as well as cheerful stilt-walkers will meet the guests and offer everyone to take a selfie in the photo zone decorated in traditional folk style. Both adult and little guests will be able to learn and to dance a Pancake round dance, to visit the festive master class, to listen and even to sing songs with accompaniment of button accordion and many other surprises.
At 11a.m. the holiday will take place on the Horse Complex. The visitors to Feldman Ecopark will be able to try hand at the Cossack competitions: to participate in horseshoe throwing, sack fights, broom throwing, jumps over stack of wood. Besides, guests are able to show force and skill, having sawn a log. The little ones will be able to pass a rope labyrinth, to take part in games with fake pancakes and other entertainments.
It will be possible to release resentments, having written about them on small pieces of paper attaching them to special strips: your troubles will burn down together with a Pancake jackstraw. The Theatre of Children and Animals will show the Pancake Sunday performance prepared specially for the holiday (beginning at 11:30 a.m.), and at 13:30 p.m. everyone will be able to take part in a festive tasty lottery with interesting sweet dainty prizes.
At 13:45 p.m. the Horse Show begins, at 2 p.m. – the theatrical farewell to winter ending with Maslenitsa jackstraw burning and common Pancake round dance 14:30 p.m. Certainly, the holiday won’t do without tasty fresh-baked pancakes absolutely free of charge for our guests.
