The action “Let’s create the Ecopark’s library together” will take place in the Feldman Ecopark on June 11-12. We invite everyone to share their books in order everyone, who comes to the Ecopark, to be able to combine open-air rest with interesting and useful reading.
If you have good, but not very necessary to you books, you may bring them to the Ecopark. They will be accepted in the pavilion, not far from the central entrance of the Regional Landscape Park. It doesn’t matter if the books are not in the best condition. During the next action it is planned to carry out the revival of books, and everyone is able to take part in it as well.
The project stipulating the creation of the reading zone in the Ecopark was described by the heads of the Centre of Psychosocial Rehabilitation of the Feldman Ecopark, Tetiana Aliieva and Inna Vashkite.
“We are making the special zone on the territory of the Ecopark, where the bibliotherapy sessions will be held. This place will be situated far from noise. It will be favourable for reading and for sharing of thoughts about the books. The practice of organization of similar open-air “readers’ clubs” is very popular in Europe and America. However, it is new for us. That is why we are sure that it will be interesting for our visitors to read surrounded by nature and to take part in the creation of the library,” Tetiana Aliieva told.
“In order to create the library, it is necessary to form its fund, first of all. It will be the first stage of the action: books collecting. We understand that not all books will be in perfect conditions. Some of them will require restoration to be used in the future. Therefore, the next stage is the revival of books, which will take place with the participation of the Ecopark’s visitors as well. We will accept books in any condition, because it is important for us to have a versatile collection of literature,” Inna Vashkite noted.
