Birds staying to spend winter in this part of the world will become the main heroes of the educational and entertaining festivities in Feldman Ecopark this Sunday, November 11.
“According to the folk calendar, now is the time, when the Orthodox believers mark Zinovii Sinichkin remembrance day (falls on November 12), and when the birds feel that cold weather comes soon. They fly from forests closer to human dwellings waiting for people’s assistance. And it depends on all of us how blue tits and other birds spend winter here. Together with our birds, we will open the “bird food court” – we are going to hang out bird feeders across Ecopark. Moreover, everyone will be able to learn to make creative and eco-friendly feeders using ordinary materials and items,” the organizers told.
Everyone, who cares about the destiny of wintering birds, will be able to do good together – to hang out bird feeders in the territory of Feldman Ecopark. The workers of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex have already prepared 70 feeders and will fill them with food throughout winter helping birds to survive cold season. The participants of the campaign will gather at Ecopark’s main location at 11.30 a.m. Meanwhile, the master class from Pavlo Palianytsia – Café “Eat&Fly!” – in eco-feeders creation will start at 1 p.m.
In addition, this day (as well as on Saturday, November 10) the visitors to Ecopark will be able to take part in the game programmes for children, to play board games (football, memory, jenga), to attend the live classic music concert “In Harmony with Nature” and Polka-Dance. Moreover, cheerful agility competitions will take place at the Theatre of Children and Animals: dogs will participate in them on Saturday, and goats – on Sunday (the event starts at 11.30 a.m. each day).
