“Unknown about known: Our amazing friend donkey” is the title for the festivities prepared by the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark for Sunday, August 12.
“Donkeys are amazing, cheerful and interesting animals. There are a lot of myths around them, which often have nothing in common with the reality. That is why it will be definitely interesting for the visitors to Feldman Ecopark to learn more about donkeys, to know them closer, and to take photos with these animals. In addition to the pleasant time, the visitors will be able to get nice prizes by participating in interesting competitions,” the organizers of the festivities tell.
The campaign will be carried out at two locations near the main building of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex and near the Kind Donkey farm. There will be a rich programme near the Kind Donkey farm starting from noon and 2 p.m. It will include the presentation of Ecopark’s donkeys, the lecture about these animals given by a famous biologist Andrii Hapchenko and the quizzes for children and adults. Moreover, the organizers will destroy the myths of donkeys and offer a cheerful game “Happy Carrot”: the participants will give carrots to the donkey, and the one chosen by the animal will get an opportunity to visit its nice kin – zebra, and even to feed it. The programme will end with a photo shoot with donkeys.
At the main location, the visitors to Ecopark will be able to dance, to take part in interesting games, and to demonstrate their knowledge at the quiz “Our friend donkey.” At the Enjoyable Path, the traditional master classes in bracelet creation, clay modeling and mehendi will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the live classic music will sound at the pavilion near the Swan Lake.
Everyone who wants to see something new and interesting should also visit the Horse Complex Feldman Ecopark. Starting from 11 a.m., the Western Riding competitions will take place there. It is an original type of equestrian competitions that becomes more and more popular and is based on the culture and customs of American cowboys.
An important event will take place during the weekend in Feldman Ecopark’s Theatre of Children and Animals – the National Competition of Children’s Scientific and Research Works in the field of enrichment of the animal habitat “A Zoo of Harmony.” On Sunday, from 10.30 a.m. to noon, near the house of the group “Growing Up in Ecopark” everyone will be able to watch the presentation of the works by all of the participants of the festival. The Theatre’s performance “Cheerful Kaleidoscope” starts at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday and at noon on Sunday.
