Feldman Ecopark invites everyone who likes cycling and outdoor activities to take part in the massive bicycle event, which will take place on the Crazy Bikes track on May 1.
Feldman Crazy Bikes offers everyone, who wants to take part in the event, to meet at 10 a.m. near the Bicyclist Monument on Bilhorodske Shosse, and at 11 a.m. to move towards the Regional Landscape Park. It is also possible to join the event in Feldman Ecopark on the cross-country bicycle track “Crazy Bikes.” Velo Kharkiv and Kharkiv Regional trade union amalgamation will take part in the event. A presentation of the new path will take place here from 12 noon to 4.30 p.m.
“The new path is over 2.5km long. It has complicated turns, extreme slope and the special constructions, like timber sections. This route is aimed at the skilled athletes, not the amateurs, and is constructed for competitions,” the Feldman Crazy Bikes project coordinator Oleksii Korchak told.
It should be reminded that the construction of the cross-country bicycle track “Crazy Bikes” was launched in Feldman Ecopark last November. The first stage of the forest bicycle track was opened in January, and the new 3km route was presented in the beginning of April. Today, the 8km route consists of four, 500m, 1,000m and 3,240m and 5km long circuits with counter slopes, 12 shors with the length of more than 150m, three wooden sections, small pump sections and 20-centimeter drops. Not only the athletes, but also cycling fans without special skills are able to have a ride along the track. The new environmental project “Feldman Crazy Bikes” is the part of the 1,000 Teams Tournament programme carried out by the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation.”
