This weekend, All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” is going to resume the weekly campaign “Saving the Life You Find a Friend” aimed at the settlement of stray animals. According to Good Home’s chief Iryna Podvoiska, with the establishment of warm weather, Feldman Ecopark will once again become a place for volunteers who look for the new owners of stray kittens, puppies and other domestic animals.
“Both the volunteer animal rights activists and the residents of Kharkiv who are planning to get themselves a pet, have already started to ask us about the renewal of the campaign in Feldman Ecopark. The weather is finally favourable and this weekend, everyone, who is planning to take a cheerful and devoted creature to their families, will be able to leave Feldman Ecopark not alone, but with a much-loved animal,” Iryna Podvoiska noted.
The campaign will take place near the central building of Feldman Ecopark from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday during the whole warm season (the time may be adjusted in case of bad weather). Telephone: 097-736-57-67, 093-862-58-36 (Iryna).
It should be reminded that Feldman Ecopark Good Home was established in 2010. Since that time it helped to find reliable owners to more than 15,000 animals. In 2016, during the campaign “Saving the Life You Find a Friend” (held from May to October) nearly 600 animals found a new home. During the cold season, the owners for stray animals were sought with the help of photo shoots, after which the photos were published on the social networks and mass media.
