The Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” helps mini-shelters in Kharkiv with food for animals, and arranges the transportation of stray animals for sterilization and vaccination by volunteers.
The head of the Centre Iryna Podvoiska tells that there are a lot of caring people in Kharkiv, who are ready to help and provide shelter to stray animals at own expense by opening special mini-shelters.
“Nevertheless, people, who provide shelter to animals, are not always able to provide their pets with proper food, care or veterinary services. Then, Feldman Ecopark Good Home is ready to help. Thanks to the cooperation with our partners, including supermarkets and businessmen, we are able to provide food for animals. Moreover, we have an opportunity to arrange the transportation to veterinary clinics for sterilization, vaccination, provision of medical assistance for those animals, which may be too active or quite large for a taxi or a public transport. Thanks to our intensive activity aimed at animal rescue, Feldman Ecopark Good Home has a good reputation in animal protection society, and people trust us,” Iryna Podvoiska tells.
According to Iryna Podvoiska, Feldman Ecopark Good Home is currently cooperates with twenty mini-shelters in Kharkiv. Moreover, people from other towns of Kharkiv oblast also begin to contact the Centre.
The Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” was opened in 2010, and it has already rendered assistance to more than 22,000 wild and domestic animals. Last autumn, the all-Ukrainian free hot-line service was launched (Tel.: 0-800-302-303) to provide the qualified professional advice from the specialists of Good Home, and, in case of need, to call rescuers to help animals.
