The week-end in Feldman Ecopark was marked by Kindness Festival and Friendship Day.
The III annual Kharkiv festival of Kindness took place in Feldman Ecopark on Saturday, July 30. This day visitors were waited for entertaining master classes where everyone could learn to do A rag doll, charms “Mandala”, origami “Pigeon” and “Lotus”. Besides, the quiz in which winners won prizes was held in conjunction with a festival.
To Friendship Day on August 31 Feldman Ecopark prepared a quest. Six teams of real friends tested the friendship for durability, solving puzzles and overcoming various obstacles of a picturesque route. Winners, having received certificates for free dinner, celebrated the success in restaurants and Ecopark’s cafe.
This day at the central avenue everyone could be photographed, having tried on suits of people of the world will work, and to look photo exhibition “Cultural Particularities of the World’s Peoples” on the avenue behind a green site. There also took place master classes in twisting (production of figures from balloons) and traditional decorative crafts, as production of martenitsa.
“Friendship Day is celebrated since 2011 at the initiative of the UN which emphasizes importance of a new date in strengthening of friendship between the different people, – the director Feldman Ecopark Andrey Roshchupkin told. – Preparing this holiday we tried to show that despite differences in cultures of the peoples, people nevertheless are close to each other and true meaning of friendship is the same for everyone.”
