The lusty was born in a couple of squirrel monkeys Li-Li and Lara. The young representative of the genus Saimiri, this tiny type of apes is also called is inseparable with parents and is very attentive to other adult companions – the family shares the open-air cage with three squirrel monkeys. “The cheerful company addicts all the time to active games, only sometimes being interrupted on having a snack. A favorite delicacy for a saimiri ape are fruit, the kid has already managed to taste them. It safely alternates sweet fruits to maternal milk” — the deputy director Feldman Ecopark Valery Ivashchenko told.
According to specialists, a crumb-saimiri will live in Ecopark for the nonce . Visitors of Regional Landscape Park can daily see these apes of unusual beauty.
We will remind that Feldman Ecopark possesses the greatest collection of apes in Ukraine. There live more than 180 monkeys of 30 types.
