This summer, all the residents and guests of the city of Kharkiv will be able to attend a new, fabulous event in Feldman Ecopark – Art Picnic hosted by a famous TV presenter Slava Frolova. Everyone is able to join the event and not only as an audience, but also as a co-organizer of the event: the volunteers are invited to take part in directions of the event.
Art Picnic starts in Feldman Ecopark on August 5-6 and will last during two months. The fact that the social park of culture, art and healthy life-style will take place in Kharkiv was announced on Slava Frolova’s official Facebook page:
“This year our Art Picnic – the social park of culture, art and healthy life-style will take place in Kharkiv. I’ve visited this wonderful city no so long ago. My biggest surprise and admiration was caused by Feldman Ecopark and its social activity,” she wrote.
It is planned to carry out events in ten directions at the same time: “Art and Culture,” “Sport” (“Mind and Body”), “Literature,” “Music,” “Movie,” “Theatre,” “Children,” “Good Deeds,” “Festivals and Fairs,” and “Meetings with Interesting People.”
It should be noted that Art Picnic is an annual open-air sociocultural festival aimed at the development and popularization of the modern Ukrainian culture and art. It was held for the first time in 2013. The project includes hundreds of free master classes, exhibitions, concerts, film shows, performances, sports lessons, psychological trainings, workshops, and various events for children.
“Art Picnic by Slava Frolova unites the like-minded persons, everyone who can’t stand still and wants to help others. This directly coincides with our activities in Feldman Ecopark – with our holidays, competitions, festivals and master classes, which are carried out here on the regular basis, with our cultural project Feldman Art Park, sports competitions within the 1,000 Teams Tournament, and above all, with our view of a socially responsible project – the place, where some people help others absolutely gratis,” they noted in Feldman Ecopark.
