A chairman of Kharkiv regional organization of the Veterans and Disabled Soldiers of Local Wars, Ivan Stoiko passed away. Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman extended his condolences to the relatives and friends of Ivan Stoiko.
“A wonderful person has passed away. He was a strong, courageous man, for whom the officer’s honour was not an empty phrase. He has never left his brother-soldiers on the battlefield and during the peaceful times. For a long time, Mr. Stoiko headed Kharkiv City Union of Afghanistan Veterans. Ivan Stoiko was a person with heroic biography and unconditional authority with the peacekeeping soldiers. It is a special category of people, who have an uncompromising view of life and fair attitude to others. They know the value of friendship and mutual aid. May the memory of Ivan Stoiko live forever. I sincerely share the pain of loss with all his relatives and close people.”
