The Ukrainian MP suggested activists and leaders to think of political ambitions
Entrepreneurs of the Barabashovo Trading Centre are ready to assert the rights, to deal with current challenges together and prevent politicization of processes around the largest trading centre in Ukraine. This was discussed at a meeting of the Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman with Kharkiv entrepreneurs.
“From the beginning of pre-election processes in our country, the Barabashovo Trading Centre has taken a principled position: to stay out of policy. The International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation”, the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex of Feldman Ecopark and the Vremia newspaper took the same position. Some people don’t like this idea. Today, we are under attack on many positions, but we will hold out. We will not allow ourselves to be drawn into dirty political war, but we won’t remain idle as well” — Feldman noted.
Mr. Feldman suggested re-electing of Business Council of Barabashovo for improvement of dialogue between entrepreneurs and administration of the trading centre. The new Business Council will comprise leaders of the trade-union organizations, associations and asset members.
“Council should become the real tool for solution of problems in order to reach live effective dialogue. The problem exists, entrepreneurs sound it, the administration has to deal with it, there shouldn’t be any disagreements” — Feldman noted.
At the same time, he noted that in the present situation, there is a guilt of management team, but everything will change in the nearest future.
“It won’t happen again, the process will be transparent and everyone will be able to take part in decision-making. For my part, I will also control a situation. Meetings of the working group will be held systemically, at least, once a week, and each platform has to choose the delegates independently” — Feldman noted.
Entrepreneurs reported about a problem of politicization of economic processes around Barabashovo from certain activists and about real need to carry out such meetings.
“We will prevent the process politicization, and we will not allow certain officials hiding behind the interests of local community to ruin an object. In the nearest future the administration of the Barabashovo Trading Centre waits for the credit aimed at development of the trading centre” — Feldman told.
The members of the meeting noted that similar communication became the beginning of a new format of partnership.
“Oleksandr Feldman’s words about the fact that both the administration of Barabashovo, and entrepreneurs have to find an opportunity to put an end to controversial issues and to start productive dialogue from scratch, received the full support ” — entrepreneurs noted.
Besides, Feldman suggested activists and leaders to think of political ambitions, to go together on elections 2020 and continue to defend the interests of the city and its region in local governments.
It should be reminded that during the 1990s the Barabashovo trading centre became the only source of income for many Kharkiv citizens, helped entrepreneurs to endure crisis. Moreover, today the Trading Centre is one of the largest taxpayers of the city. More than 20 years ago, Oleksandr Feldman had been at the origin of the establishment of Barabashovo Trading Centre.
