Ukrainian MP, the chairman of the interfactional union “The parliamentary group of friendship between Ukraine and the State of Israel” Oleksandr Feldman urged the Verkhovna Rada to immediately ratify the new agreement with Israel concerning the employment of Ukrainian workers. The politician wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Signing the agreement is the important step towards closer relations between the countries. It is pleasant that Israel demonstrates its friendly attitude to our country again. I am very glad that Ukrainians working in Israel will get social security, insurance, and the opportunity to work on civilized terms. I am sure that the technology exchange, the projects exchange will be more active, and the investments will be directed at Ukraine,” Oleksandr Feldman emphasized. “I think that similar documents must be ratified by Ukrainian Parliament immediately. Because it is the concern for the citizens.”
It should be reminded that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Israel signed the agreement about the employment of Ukrainian workers in certain areas of Israeli labour market, and the implementation protocol to the agreement concerning the area of construction. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that the agreement provides thousands of Ukrainians of various specialities, in particular, the construction ones, the opportunity to work in Israel on the same conditions as the citizens of the state of Israel, with the relevant social security and medical insurance. The agreement stipulates the exchange of technologies and experience.
