“Another outrageous incident of inhuman treatment of animals happened in Kharkiv today. The evidences of this attitude to the other lives were found in the wooded area on the outskirts. Who and why killed our four-legged friends? Why the entrails were removed? Why these dead bodies were thrown away like a trash? The competent agencies should give answers to these questions,” Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman wrote on his Facebook page.
“I hope they will take this incident seriously and take its investigation under the special control. For my part, I promise to reward those who will find and catch the criminals involved in this brutality. Unfortunately, it is not the first awful piece of news from Kharkiv these days. Today’s finding of the killed and disemboweled animals is another sad and disgusting example of people losing the sense of compassion, the conscience, and, at the same time, the human appearance,” he noted.
“I would like to remind that the Service for Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” exists for years. It is ready to disinterestedly help everywhere and always if an animal is in trouble. It will rescue, nurse, shelter, and find a new home for any domestic or wild animal. I would like to remind about this and to ask everyone who faces such problems as injured, abandoned living creatures, and cruel treatment of pets not to pass by and to ask help of those who can help,” the politician added.
He reminded that recently, an animal protection campaign “Cry” was conducted in Kharkiv for people to remember that there is no another’s pain, no another’s suffering. “If it is necessary, we will “cry” once again for our cry to be heard by the dormant human conscience in order to wake it up,” Oleksandr Feldman emphasized.
It should be reminded that the law-enforcement agencies were notified on Novermber 28, at 9 a.m. about the fact that several sacks were found in the wooded area on Bilorodske Shose street. According to the information of the press service of the Kharkiv Police Administration, the patrol arrived and opened one of the sacks. The carcasses of wild animals without viscera were there.
