The Ukrainian MP, the founder of the Institute of Human Rights Protection and Prevention of Extremism and Xenophobia (IHRPEX) Oleksandr Feldman expressed condolences to relatives of the victims of the terrorist attack which happened at the concert in Manchester the day before.
“My heartfelt sympathies go to the victims, their loved ones, I would like to wish the injured a speedy recovery. Tragically, terrorism became one of the main threats of life and security of people now, and as events over the past few years have shown, the civilized world was unprepared for such pace of developments — Oleksandr Feldman emphasized. – The principal objective of terrorists is to cast terror, panic and uncertainty about the future. Therefore all countries of the world have to integrate and give the adequate answer to this challenge. Terrorism has no nationality and religion; it is the common concern of mankind. Therefore the establishment of a collective security system capable to protect people in any corner of our planet must be our common goal.
It should be reminded that late at night on May 22 in Manchester (Great Britain), during the concert of the American pop singer Ariana Grande on Manchester Arena several explosions occurred. 22 people lost their lives, including children, more than 100 people suffered. The police investigate the tragedy in Manchester Arena as the act of terrorism. According to police, we are talking about the suicide bomber who acted alone.
