Ukrainian MP, the chairman of the interfactional union “Parliamentary friendship group Ukraine – the State of Israel” Oleksandr Feldman welcomes the Verkhovna Rada’s ratification of the agreement concerning the employment of the family members of the officers of diplomatic institutions. The politician wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“The Verkhovna Rada’s ratification of the agreement between the Governments of Ukraine and Israel on the employment of the family members of the officers of diplomatic mission or consular institution is another step towards the establishment of closer relations between the countries. It is a very important step demonstrating that Israel was and remains the important partner and friend for us,” Oleksandr Feldman noted. “These, maybe not so big steps not only make us closer and more open, but also make us closer to signing the free trade zone agreement. I am glad that there were 239 MPs in the Parliament who supported this decision.”
It should be reminded that on September 21, the Verkhovna Rada ratified the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the State of Israel concerning the employment of the family members of the officers of diplomatic mission or consular institution. The explanatory note indicates that the agreement ratification will favour the exercise of the right of the diplomatic service officials’ family members to work, to support their skill level and to get opportunities for professional development.
It should be reminded that Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman is the member of the parliamentary group for inter-Parliamentary relations with the State of Israel in the Verkhovna Rada of ІV -VІІІ convocations.
