Feldman Ecopark invites the residents and the guests of the city of Kharkiv to celebrate the year equator with a Hawaiian party during this weekend, July 14-15.
“If you had no time to go to the sea or maybe you don’t even have an opportunity to do this during this summer season, than it is possible not just to enjoy a seaside rest, but even to feel like you are resting near the ocean staying here! For the fans of colourful photos, we offer all the necessary sea accessories – flippers, diving mask, snorkel and even a pool. Everyone, who wishes to have good Hawaiian-style entertainments, will be able to attend a master class on creation of the traditional garlands (lei), cheerful Hawaiian games, a real Hawaiian fair, an interesting quiz about Hawaii, lively dances and many more,” the organizers of the festivities tell.
Hawaiian games (cheerful games for children and adults – flipper run, fishing) will start at the main location of Ecopark on Sunday, July 15, at noon. They will be followed by the Hawaiian fair, where everyone will be able to define the correct weight of a pineapple, a coconut or a bunch of bananas – the one, who tells the most precise weight, will be able to take the fruits. The competitions for walking encyclopedias – “Do You Know Hawaii” – will start at 1 p.m.
In addition to the traditional and people’s favourite master classes on bracelet creation and mehendi body art at the Enjoyable Path, everyone will be able to learn how to make the traditional Hawaiian lei (flower garlands) and orchids from paper (from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) The programme of the day will be enriched with an effective performance by the Theatre of Children and Animals “Land of Oz” (starting at 11.30 a.m.), an exciting show with horses at the Horse Complex (starting at 1 p.m.), the Saving the Dirty-Ear quest (from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), and lively dances from “Salsa-loca” (from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.) Moreover, as usual, the live music will sound in Ecopark, the open-air art studio will be open, and everyone will be able to play board games and take a run bike at the rental centre.
Music, dancing, games, quests, Hawaiian games and performances by the Theatre of Children and Animals will be also waiting for the visitors to the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex on Saturday, July 14.
