On June 20 Feldman Ecopark and AVEC Gallery have joined the celebration of International Yoga Day in Kharkiv which was first carried out officially on the initiative of the Embassy of India and the Ukrainian Federation of Yoga.
This day visitors of Feldman Ecopark have got acquainted with acro yoga – a combination of yoga and acrobatic exercises, fly yoga or practice of yoga in hammocks, yoga for children. Also wishing people were offered cheerful photo stands, learning of different animal poses, mehendi – a henna painting.
At the same time in AVEC Gallery everyone could take a course of lectures about yoga and health of the person. Here from June 11 to June 30 the photo exhibition Yoga Travel “World through the eyes of yogis ” takes place.
In the same day, on June 20th, the Regional Landscape Park has joined the events devoted to the World Refugee Day. They have taken place in Ecopark with the assistance of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and also several charitable organizations: “Kharkiv Station”, “Right for protection”, “World”.
For more than two hundred children from families of resettlers from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, refugees from Syria, Ethiopia and Somali, the Ecopark sightseeing tour, master classes and the developing activities and also horse representation has been conducted.
