This weekend, April 23-24, the Feldman Ecopark prepared a rich sports and entertaining program for the visitors. Everyone will be able to practice walking on spring-loaded stilts (powerbocking) accompanied by instructors and take part in active games and competitions. The weekend novelty is a retro-zone “Back to the Past.” It will be possible to remember childhood here and to teach the daughters and granddaughters to play hopscotch and Chinese jump rope.
The culmination of the family sports holiday will be the skipping rope tournament “Eco-skipping.” After the express training by professionals of this non-Olympic sport, both adults and children will be able to try themselves in it. The winners of the competitions will get prizes.
Skipping is an old and international exercise. According to some information, it was invented in Ancient China. According to the other sources, it was used for training of Kievan Rus’ warriors. There is also a version, that the first Christians skipped celebrating Easter.
As for this main Christian holiday (which is celebrated May 1 this year), the Ecopark prepared master classes in creation of souvenirs and cards. They will make it possible for the visitors of the Feldman Ecopark to diversify the greetings given to their relatives and friends on the Bright Sunday.
In addition, the Feldman Ecopark is going to carry out the traditional parade of animals and demonstrate the show presented by the artists from the Theatre of Children and Animals and the Horse Complex.
