On September 25, the first-year students of the Kharkiv Institute of Finance of the Kiev University of Trade and Economy visited the Regional Landscape Park where they spent time cheerfully and effectively, participating in various competitions and quests.
The unforgettable holiday for young people who have only recently taken seats at the student’s bench was organized by the Council of Student Government of KIF and the HEI Administration together with the Feldman Ecopark.
For participation in the event the first-year students were supposed to gather a team, to come up with a title, to compose a motto and to draw a logo. The quest took place in the territory of the Art Picnic where the students had to show the intelligence, creativity and athletic skills, as well as participating in various thematic competitions. The team with the original title “Unicorns of Inflation” became winners, but all participants were satisfied with entertainment and pastime in the Regional Landscape Park this sunny day.
“We had been pleased to provide an opportunity to the Kharkiv Institute of Finance to spend the First-Year Student Day in the Feldman Ecopark because education of youth, promotion of healthy lifestyle and respect for the nature are among our main priorities. Undoubtedly, this day will surely be best remembered by the first-year students. The important thing is that children could get to know each other outside the walls of their institution and it will help them to establish good friendship for that period of time they should spend at the Alma Mater”, – the Feldman Ecopark director Andrii Roshchupkin noted.
It should be noted that the Feldman Ecopark develops cooperation with higher educational institutions of the Kharkiv region. On September 14-15, the members of the Feldman Ecopark participated in the scientific conference devoted to the sanitary and veterinary examination issues which took place in the Kharkiv State Zooveterinary Academy. Also students of the Zooveterinary Academy pass practice in the Feldman Ecopark, studying exotic animals from the zoological collection.
