The new programme of introducing guests to the four-legged residents of the Molosser kennel Santa House Feldman was launched in Feldman Ecopark. From now on, everyone, who had not opportunity to find a dog of the dream, and those, who just adore these tailed fidgets will be able to meet and play with them in the territory of the Regional Landscape Park every Sunday.
“This weekend, the adult titled Molossers and even small puppies, which are only to demonstrate their beauty and skills at the forthcoming exhibitions took part in the programme,” the deputy director of the Molosser kennel Santa House Feldman, Olha Hordienko told. “A heavy attention to our dogs, of course, was paid by kids, and it is quite clear: it is difficult to find a child now, who is not dreaming about such a smart friend nearby. Our purpose is to give this little happiness to children, providing them with the opportunity to play with a dog, to ask elder workers about its nature, and to try to give a couple of commands under their careful attention.”
The organizers of the programme note that the similar campaigns not only introduce the children to our four-legged friends, but also teach them care and responsibility. According to the information from the kennel’s administration, the similar meetings will be held every Sunday, if the weather is fine.
The second part of the entertainments was also devoted to the animals: a team quest made adults and children to warm up and to run along the paths in search of various predatory, feathered, ungulate and other residents of Ecopark, or to be more precise, their artistic copies – the sculptures. In the end of the race, all participants of the quests were awarded with the deserved prizes and presents.
As for the animals of Feldman Ecopark, they also were awarded. The members of the Club of Biologists under the Children’s Ecology and Nature Study Academy created eco-toys for the predators. Fabric straw-stuffed craftworks are especially popular among the felines, wolves and bears. These toys help to involve animals with exciting games, and children are able to watch the reactions of predators and to get valuable data for their scientific reports.
