In work with children of internally displaced persons which is carried out the second year specialists of the Center of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Feldman Eсopark use various modern techniques including art therapy. According to them, such occupations give the chance to children to work the internal problems, to reassess and overestimate earlier psycho trauma. Besides, it allows psychologists to carry out monitoring of an emotional condition of participants of the rehabilitation program for the purpose of psycho correction.
“Today the families which are temporarily moved from the anti-terrorist operation zone overcome new difficulties in the life. The most painful and dangerous period is passed, but there is also a grave problem — how to start all over again. And this problem is being addressed by younger generation the most difficult. New friends, new home, new lifestyle – all this, of course, is reflected on young, weak mentality — the head of psychological service of the Center psychosocial rehabilitation Tatiana Aliyeva told — The analysis of a psycho emotional state of children from the first moment of resettlement differs from present. In the beginning aggression and fear were brightly expressed. It is reflected in pictures which were drawn by children. Over time the state had to be normalized, but everything turned out different”.
Experts fix that life priorities of these children are shifted – in their mental state the lowered motivational orientation to study and to development is noted.
“Restoration of a motivational component of behavior of the children who have endured the psychoinjuring events became the main task of the Center of Psychosocial Rehabilitation this year. During the whole summer we provided trainings, individual and group classes thanks to which we developed interest in activities, to the world around — Tatyana Aliyeva notes. — Different experts took part in work; the directions which aim was to develop the informative sphere of children versatile were used. Such as: psycho correctional trainings, bibliotherapy, art therapy, animal therapy and ecotherapy. Today’s lesson showed that we move in the right direction. Children regain interest in self-development, motivation in activities during the school period. We see at them many creative ideas which are closely connected with life Feldman Ecopark”.
We will remind that the project of the International Charitable Foundation “Alexander Feldman’s Fund” on rehabilitation of children of displaced persons from a conflict zone “War by eyes of children” is realized since summer 2015. On
the basis of Feldman Ecopark the Kharkiv psychologists and psychotherapists developed the special program – “Ecotherapy”. At its core lies the use of the classical and modern techniques which are based on therapeutic impact on mentality of creativity and communication with wildlife.
