Klavdiya Ivanivna Shulzhenko has a special place among people, Kharkiv is proud of. She devoted her life and talent to art, which bring joy and hope to people living during the most difficult times. They are especially dear to the generation that survived in the terrible war; and they are in the hearts of their children and grandchildren.
The songs by Klavdiya Ivanivna Shulzhenko are always about the simple and important things. They are about love, friendship, about the necessity to always remain a human, whatever difficult it may be. And this main lesson we should remember gratefully today – on the 110th birthday of our famous compatriot, Klavdiya Ivanivna Shulzhenko.
