Festivities devoted to the favourite and main dainty of the beginning of autumn – a watermelon – will take place in Feldman Ecopark this Sunday, September 16. The Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex has prepared 10 tons of watermelons and numerous entertainments for its visitors.
“Everyone loves watermelons! And here, you will be able not only to treat yourself to them, but also to take photos with an one-metre high slice of watermelon, to compete in fast watermelon cutting and eating, to demonstrate own knowledge about this world’s largest berry, to create a souvenir watermelon and much more!” the organizers of the festivities tell.
A comic game programme “Watermelon Alarm” including the fast watermelon eating competitions “I love watermelon faster!”, watermelon cutting against time, creative contest “Everything looks like a watermelon” will start at the main location of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex at 12.15 p.m. and 2.15 p.m. While starting at 1 p.m., the blitz-master-class on paper watermelon boxes creation will take place here.
Moreover, this day, the visitors to Ecopark will be able to attend many interesting events: a concert by the circus studio “Neposedy” (starting at 11 a.m.), fascinating club show jumping competitions of the Horse Complex (starting at 11 a.m.), the premiere of the performance “Story of Snow White” by the Theatre of Children and Animals (starting at 11.30 a.m.), children’s photo exhibition competition “The Nature of Kharkiv Region” (at the path near the animal theatre), the live classic music concert “In Harmony with Nature” (from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the pavilion near the Swan Lake), an interactive performance by the trio “Avzhezh” (violin, accordion, drums, from 12.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the stage of the summer camp).
And, as usual, everyone will be able to take part in master classes on bracelet plaiting (from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), clay modeling (from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), open-air art studio (from 10.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
As for those, who are going to visit the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex on Saturday, September 15, game programmes for children and blitz-master-classes will take place every hour. Moreover, the live classic music will also sound here and the Theatre of Children and Animals will make a performance “Cheerful Kaleidoscope” (starting at 11.30 a.m.)
