On Sundays the football championship “The day off tournament” takes place on playing fields of the Sports Complex Feldman Ecopark. The Kharkiv citizens and city residents, irrespective of age, sex and fitness level can take part in it. Everyone is able to register for the participation by phones: 050 323 81 36, 050 327 02 23.
“The teamsheet is formed weekly — we accept applications till Thursday. The matches are held according to the round robin system when each participant of the tournament plays with everyone, and the winner is defined on points. On May 28, five teams participated in “The day off tournament”. The Pride 520 became the winner, the second place was taken by the Damascus Steel and Our Team got the third — Marina Sarafanova, the Day Off Tournament project coordinator told. — The officiating is carried out by arbitrators of Futsal Federation of Ukraine, whereas the International Charity Foundation Oleksandr Feldman Foundation and the Regional Landscape Park Feldman Ecopark award the winners with prizes and cash bonuses.
“The day off tournament” football superiority will last the whole summer and at the end of a season the final competition will take place – the champions will receive the Feldman Ecopark’s Cup and a super prize. According to the organizers, the main thing in the project is an opportunity for having active weekend in nature with your family and friends.
“People arrive with their families. While fathers are fighting on the football pitch, mothers with children actively are cheering for them. The playground and inflatable attractions work for the children. After tournaments’ completion everyone has opportunity to taste field porridge and to saunter through the Regional Landscape Park. In our opinion, this is the ideal combination – you can kick a football with your friends and culturally entertain your children and wife”. And at the same time to venture out”, – Andrii Roshchupkin, the director Feldman Ecopark told.
Let’s remind that the Day Off Tournament project is one of the directions of the long-term sports and humanitarian programme 1,000 Teams Tournament which implemented by the International Charity Foundation Oleksandr Feldman Foundation on the basis of the Feldman Ecopark.
