On 31 October and 1 November guests of Feldman Ecopark celebrated the festival of pumpkin lights, bright costumes and sweets — Halloween.
‘The tradition of celebrating Halloween is spreading all over the globe, so why not here, at Feldman Ecopark,’ noted a People’s Deputy of Ukraine and the founder of Feldman Ecopark Oleksandr Feldman. ‘Children know and like this holiday, many Kharkiv people asked me to organize it, and that is why we celebrate Halloween for the entire two days.’
The entire entertainment program was dedicated to the mystical All Saints Day, the main part of the event being the prize draw of a smartphone for the person to present the scariest and most frightening costume. The winner was selected by determining the viewer rating of each contestant. As a result, the prize was awarded to the 4-year-old Anton who was dressed as a devilkin.
The event ‘Protect Your Pet from Evil Powers’ was organized as part of the festival. Children and their parents created several symbols of Halloween – jack-o’-lanterns. All pumpkins were then presented to their favorite pets at Feldman Ecopark – they will be used as protective and decorative elements of the place and as tasty food.
Also the visitors of this regional landscape park were entertained by the well-known band All Stars and their dancing flash mob which brought together over 150 people.
