With a budget of 6.7 billion of hryvnia, Kharkiv has quite a good perspective under conditions of economic decentralization. This is what a people’s deputy of Ukraine, co-chairperson of a political party “Nash Kray” Oleksandr Feldman mentioned in his interview in Focus magazine.
According to him, Kharkiv has everything it needs – strategic enterprises, gas producing industry, transport connection, growing agricultural sector, and also huge potential in the sphere of service and technologies.
‘Unlike neighboring regions that have niche specialization, our region has to have mixed economy, where every field will be able to fill up others, instead of developing to their disadvantage’, the deputy said.
According to Feldman, it is also crucial to create opportunities to encourage investment in order to increase competitive abilities of large promising enterprises.
‘Economic decentralization and creating favorable taxation terms for anyone, who is ready invest in our city transparently and provide citizens of Kharkiv with job, in combination with civilized political diversity can become a starting point to active development of Kharkiv’, the politician assured.
