Last weekend the guests to the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex were able to try whether they are ready to acquire his or her own four-legged friend, and in the Theatre of Children and Animals chose a name to the alpaca cub.
The special program devoted to the international ecological holiday — the World Animal Rights Day, which is celebrated on December 10 in Feldman Ecopark was carried out by Aunt Owl and her friend Yehor the Raccoon. Taking a test “Right to a Friend!”, the participants had to show the knowledge and readiness to take responsibility for an animal. In addition to the check of theoretical knowledge of animals, the participants of the program had to perform practical tasks on elementary animal care and training. Those who passed a test gained diplomas from Feldman Ecopark.
In Theatre of Children and Animals Feldman Ecopark chose the name to a little alpaca, which was born in alpaca actor’s family, the mother Alia and a father Kolia, in the middle of October. In fact, a final choice was made by the kid. “From many different variants sent by our friends via social networks or offered by our young naturalists, we chose the best 14. We put apple slices on plates with different names and he chose the plate with a name Antonio which rejoices now” — the head of the Theatre of Children and Animals Olena Harazhina told.
Traditionally, at the weekend the guests to the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex were able to go on a whirlwind tour across Europe, studying dancing traditions of the different countries in the Polka-DANCE program. Play&Learn location with various developing didactic games and creative tasks, as well as activities focused on development of manual dexterity and lability continues to work for the smallest visitors.
