This weekend, October 13-15, Feldman Ecopark invites Kharkiv residents and the guests of the city to celebrate in pleasant company the Defender of Ukraine Day, the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks and the Intercession of the Theotokos. Moreover, it will be possible to plunge into the fascinating flower atmosphere at the Chrysanthemum Ball.
The main festivities will take place on Sunday, October 14. This day, the visitors will be welcomed by a real hetman inviting everyone to take a national selfie and to take part in Cossack entertainments – to demonstrate own strength in arm wrestling (starting at 10 a.m.), to take part in historical family quest “Along the Cossack’s Country” consisting of five locations (intellectual, sport, ethnographic, song and creative, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), to attend a “Varenyk-Show” (Cossack’s dishes auction, varenyk speed eating competition, starting at 1 p.m.), and to participate in sport and game programme “Cossacks Never Say Die!” for children and their parents (sack fighting, tug of war, weight lifting, starting at 1.45 p.m.) This day, the defenders of Ukraine will be able to win nice prizes in holiday lottery.
Moreover, the visitors to the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex will be able to attend a show by circus studio “Neposedy” (starting at 11.30 a.m.), a thematic performance by the Theatre of Children and Animals “Like in Our Ukraine” (starting at 11.30 a.m.) and the games “Cossack’s Entertainments” (starting at noon), horse show (starting at 1 p.m.), traditional master classes and classic music concert “In Harmony with Nature.”
On Saturday, October 13, and Monday, October 15, the visitors to Ecopark will also have no time to be bored: they will be met with music, dancing, quest “Along the Cossack’s Country,” sport and game programme “Cossacks Never Say Die,” game “Cheat,” and animal theatre performance “Autumn Kaleidoscope” (starting at 11.30 a.m.)
Moreover, the most long-awaited event of autumn – the Chrysanthemum Ball – will continue in Feldman Ecopark. It is possible to watch at big flower figures and 40,000 flowers of various forms and colours. Last weekend, the Ball was visited by a record number of visitors – more than 100,000 persons. This massive flower exhibition will be open in Ecopark till frosts.
