The International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” will transfer ₴100,000 to help the residents of the town of Ichnia (Chernihiv oblast) and neighbouring villages, which became victims of explosions at ammunition depot.
In addition, Oleksandr Feldman Foundation together with Feldman Ecopark announced the collection of humanitarian assistance to the victims of Ichnia ammunition depot explosions and urged everyone to join the campaign. Among the necessary things are baby food, diapers, personal-care products, warm clothes and footwear, sleeping bags, roll mats, mattresses, bed linen, water, storable food, disposable tableware, building materials. The items are collected in the Informational Centre of Feldman Ecopark, and they, together with primary necessities provided by the Foundation and Ecopark, will be soon sent to the victims.
“More than 10,000 persons – women, children, the aged – were forced to rapidly leave their homes, often without possibility to take the most necessary things with them. They urgently need our support. Therefore, our Foundation cannot stand aside. We urge everyone to join us, as the victims need our help and our moral support,” the Foundation’s founder, Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman emphasized.
It should be reminded that on the night of October 9, in the territory of sixth arsenal of the Ministry of Defence situated near the village of Druzhba (Ichnia region, Chernihiv oblast), the ammunition started to explode. More than 12,000 residents in the 16km danger zone were evacuated. People spend nights in different places, like school gyms.
